Vintage Purple/Blue Venetian Murano glass w/gold leaf and enamel flowers

Murano glass is a type of Venetian glass that's handmade on the Italian island of Murano using special techniques. Murano glass has been produced on the island since the 13th century, and was a major center for luxury glass in Europe during the High Middle Ages and Italian Renaissance. The glass is made by melting mineral sands at high temperatures, with the specific mineral used determining the color of the glass.

Murano glass is known for its elaborate decorations, which can include gilding and enamel, both of which are showcased on these shot glasses.  These will be a beautiful addition to your bar setup and will surely be a conversation piece with your guests.
