Vintage oval curved glass frame w/ US Capitol painting

This painting features the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C, and is encased in an ornately designed oval frame in a gold-tone finish.  This painting dates from the 1940s, and was painted using the reverse painting technique, where the artist paints the image on the back of a convex piece of glass, in reverse order.
