This is a Rare Find! This absolutely gorgeous oversized mortar & pestle is an authentic Delft Blauw piece handpainted in Holland (#296). This piece is part of local Melbourne history, as it was part of the personal collection of George Browning, who founded Browning's Pharmacy.
The mortar stands approximately 9" tall; the mouth is 7 3/8" round, and the base is 6 1/4" round. The pestle is approximately 11" long.
